Where you have different organisations or teams within the same company delivering a project, you need to make sure they work together effectively for the common goal.

This so often doesn’t happen due to a lack of communication, little commitment or versted interests of certain parties or individuals involved.

A good Project Manager will look at the end goal and make sure everyone works towards that goal efficiently and effectively, optimising every opportunity.

For any project I manage, I consider what you are looking to achieve and identify the relevant skills and expertise required to deliver it, along with the timescales and budget to achieve it.

I will keep the project on track, clearly outlining each party’s roles and responsibilities, ensuring commitment from all parties concerned.

Over the years I have managed many projects delivering the success expected by the client.



Managing expectations

When numerous parties are involved in a project, each with different ways of working as well as varying levels of expertise, it can lead to an imbalance in what each delivers.

I ensure the commitment and buy-in is there from the outset and retained throughout the lifespan of the project.



Keeping on track

With constant monitoring there is little opportunity for a project to be sidetracked.

I monitor the project continuously and pick up any anomalies quickly to get it back on track, working closely with all partners involved and determining from the outset what is to be achieved and who is responsible for each aspect.



The character for success

It takes a determined and personable character to negotiate their way around complex projects and keep everyone in the loop, motivated and committed to delivering a successful project.
