I love getting to know my clients. And I think it’s important you learn a little about me too. Here goes…..
- If my middle brother had been a girl, I wouldn’t have been born. After having two boys, my mum craved a little girl. Dad wasn’t having it though, as life was very tough financially. He wasn’t just supporting his own young family, but a whole raft of extended family too. Mum eventually persuaded him and lucky for her, I turned out to be a girl!
- My pregnant “bump” was featured on a 48-sheet poster campaign across the UK. When I was pregnant with my daughter, a friend who is a commercial photographer was shooting a campaign for a national insurer focussing on safety and my “bump” was featured in it!
- I’ve had dinner with Sir David Attenborough. Well, we did have around 100 people in the room with us too! I was managing an event where he was our guest speaker. I had the pleasure of sitting next to him and chatting to him for around an hour whilst we indulged in a 3-course meal. He is a genuinely lovely man!
- I’ve been married loads of times! Haha, not really! I had to pose as the “bride” whilst I was working at Fuji on several occasions. We were running training events for photographers and instead of using “real” models, they roped staff into it. I’ve worn many wedding dresses that I would never choose and married many random people!
- I really enjoy travelling with those I love…..but I also adore solo travel. You really can’t beat a trip where you can do as you please, cafes, bars, walks, theatre, live music, dancing, museums, galleries, writing, beaches, chatting…and my job allows me to take my work with me and do this quite easily!
