I had the pleasure of doing exactly that very recently in London, and it was such a joy. I love:
😊 Being with good friends
😊 Watching thought provoking and emotional live performances
😊 I loved seeing Hedda at The Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond, set in post-war London with a focus on race and identity, it was full of drama and intrigue.
😊Going to see the Howardena Pindell exhibition at The White Cube in Bermondsey was equally beautiful and heart-wrenching, as you saw some of the horrors unravel of what she had witnessed in her art from the 1960s to the present day.
😊I was blown away by Camille O’Sullivan and her spectacular performance “Loveletter” at the Soho Theatre, where she celebrated Shane MacGowan, Sinéad O’Connor, David Bowie, Radiohead, Brel and Nick Cave. She was so incredibly captivating and powerful.
😊Visiting the stunning Royal Opera House.
😊Walking along the beautiful riverbanks in the glorious sunshine
😊Going along to the wild swimming at Shepperton, but not being brave enough to go in the water, but loving the sauna and the company of some wonderful people.
😊The craziness of Borough Market on a Saturday afternoon, and enjoying delicious food and wine
😊Using Sue Glasgow’s incredible neuroscience work with the brain and the nervous system to improve my focus, movement, balance and posture (with homework!)
😊Talking about anything and everything with friends you trust
😊Bouncing around creative business ideas and looking at how to expand the areas of our businesses that we love the most
😊Eating delicious homemade food and drinking beautiful wine
😊Exploring the Christmas markets
😊Meeting lovely new people
I cannot thank Sue enough for all the joy, fun, laughter and kindness.
